Senior Photography FAQ
When should I book my session?
Sessions book up quickly! Plan on booking 2-3 months ahead to secure a date. I usually book sessions from June until November. Consider booking in the summer months because I have learned that students get very busy once school starts!
I don't know where to go for my session?
There are so many great places in Omaha for a senior session. We will work together to find the perfect location that reflects your interests. Choose from a variety of settings, including my studio, urban locales like the old market and downtown areas, or parks and fields for a more natural look. I also enjoy heading to your high school for shots on the field or in the gym. We can mix and match locations to meet your needs and interests.
What if it rains? Do you reschedule?
We live in the midwest, so I always have an eye on the weather! If rain or extreme heat is forecasted, we will work together to reschedule. I also have a studio option if the weather is not cooperating.
What should I wear for my senior session?
I am here to help! Choose outfits that reflect who you are and make you feel comfortable and confident. Once your session is booked, you will receive a welcome packet with a detailed guide on what to wear for your session. We can work together to find outfits that work best with the locations for your session.
What do I bring for my session?
All I need is you with a great attitude and smile! But seriously, I love senior photography because we can collaborate on your session to reflect your personality and interests. Musician? Bring that instrument! Athlete? Bring that uniform and lets go to the field! You will receive a more detailed guide on what and who to bring to your session upon booking.
What if I am not sure how to pose?
I am here to help! My goal is to photograph you in a way that doesn't look too posed, but I will direct you in how to stand or sit, where to put your hands, and where to look and when to smile (or not!). It's a fun process to do together. Feel uncomfortable in a pose? Speak up! Have a pose or a look you are going for, speak up!
How long until I get my photos?
A fully edited gallery will be delivered to you in 2-3 weeks after your session.
Do I have to print my photos through you?
You will receive your gallery for download and can print where you like. However, your gallery links to an online store with professional-grade printing that ensures you will receive the highest quality products. The online store includes prints, graduation cards, wall art and photo books which are perfect for your graduation party! All delivered right to your house.
